The purpose of the conference was to promote dialogue about the impact of digital learning on the future of K-20 education in the United States. The conference examined the potential of technology to tangibly improve learning and educational access, as well as explored market and investment opportunities. Over 400 people attended, including entrepreneurs, educators, investors, students, and others interested in ed tech. The conference coincided with Digital Learning Month in Massachussetts and celebrated National Digital Learning Day on February 6, 2013. It included teachers as both panelists and participants, as well as showcased successful instructional technology in classrooms nationwide.
