Catalyst District Membership Prerequisites 

  • Have or are developing a district strategic plan with personalized learning as a key initiative
  • Willing to participate as a research site for new models, practices, and products focused on personalized learning
  • Willing to host school visits for interested MAPLE districts and partners
  • Willing to have news articles written about the work being completed on personalized learning

Catalyst District Membership Benefits 

  • Meet with peer learning group of Catalyst Districts meeting four to eight times a year
  • Receive expert recommendations to accelerate progress, including funding, products, technical assistance and professional development
  • Provide feedback to Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DESE) on policies needed to advance personalized learning in the state
  • Connect with research partners to build an evidence base on best practices for personalized learning
  • Participate in leadership and other professional development sessions on key topics such as: “How to fund the  move to personalized learning?”
  • Gain insight into the Massachusetts landscape for personalized learning
  • Participate in targeted convenings on key topics identified by Catalyst Districts
  • Sharing of “what works” in edtech to support personalized learning
  • Access to scholarships to key personalized learning conferences
